Acrylic/chalk paint on plywood (66x46, original piece, 2016)
Artist note: this piece is likely the most unique of all the works in the [inhale/exhale] series. "The Watcher" has a bit of a long history... Senra purchased an old mirror from the trendy Drake Hotel in Toronto, stripped the glass and used chalk paint as the base for one of his most popular creations. Its name is in reference to the 'male face' that friends often pointed out, seen in the middle of the piece -- something Senra maintains was completely unintentional.
"The Watcher" will show at a private viewing on July 29th in the West Queen West neighbourhood in Toronto.
